Chorus is communication coaching and skills practice — not therapy, medical or mental-health treatment, diagnosis, or a crisis service. The AI is not a licensed professional.
The shared thread is shared. Coaching is not.
You talk directly to each other in one shared session. On each of your phones, a private communication coach helps you take in what your partner just said — and shape what you want to say back, before you send it. There is no AI sitting in the middle that you both read.

Two phones, two private coaches
You and your partner share one conversation — and it holds only the messages you send each other. The summary and the health score belong to both of you. That shared thread is what you both look back on together.
The communication coach each of you receives is per-partner and private. It never posts into your shared thread, and your partner never sees yours.

My Eyes Only
When you mark a solo prep session My Eyes Only, it stays private to you — not visible to your partner, and not visible to an overseeing therapist. The choice is yours, and you can change it whenever you like.
Oversight is opt-in, and consented.
A clinician only sees a couple's data when the couple joins that clinician's practice. With consent, that can include summaries, health scores, transcripts, the partner's coaching, and AI session insights — so the clinician can genuinely help. Couples can leave anytime.

An automated safety system watches for signs of real distress — and when it sees them, Chorus steps back from coaching and points you to human help, like 988 and the National Domestic Violence Hotline. It's an aid, not a guarantee, and Chorus is a coach, not a crisis service.

We try to be precise about both what it does and what it does not do, so you know exactly what to expect.

How we protect your account
